I’ve been working really hard at putting something together that I’m really passionate about. 
Now that it’s almost ready I feel both excited and proud to finally share it with you.

I feel so lucky to do what I love and I feel so lucky to have a job where I get to meet so many interesting people from all walks of life, talk with them, capture their story and produce something that everyone can be proud of.

When I left school I didn’t really know exactly what I wanted to do and that’s probably the same for most school leavers today.

Thankfully with a bit of guidance I ended up with a camera in my hand and have absolutely loved the journey ever since.

Unsurprisingly with the popularity of YouTube, Social Media and different video platforms today, young people are craving the type of creative career I’ve been lucky enough to have – and I want to show them (and their parents!) that it is absolutely a viable and fulfilling career path.

Fast Start Filmmaker

An online short course built to inspire and equip students with the necessary tools needed to create amazing video and film.

It’s a beginners guide, a place to start for anyone wanting to get a taste of all facets of filmmaking fundamentals. As stated, I’ve primarily had students leaving school front of mind when creating this but it would also suit those who work in marketing teams, businesses that use video in the workplace or even passionate amateurs who want to learn the fundamentals.

I have combined my many years of global experience within the film and video industry to put this together and we cover the below:

– Styles of filming
– Camera equipment
– How to plan for shoots
– Lighting tips
– Camera settings
– How to direct talent
– Assignment to submit for assessment

The course is both fun and easy to digest
